“In the final parts of a race I'm just making sure I'm at my limit. Going as hard as possible. I don't like to leave anything out there on the race course.”

Bailey is built for speed from the gun. A dominant age-grouper who converted to elite racing in 2025, he’s a front-pack swimmer who isn’t afraid to bike off the front and hang tough on the run. His trajectory is steep and accelerating.

Career highlights​

  • U19 Age-Group World Champion, World Triathlon Age-Group Champs (18–19), Torremolinos 2024.​
  • Australian Age-Group (15–19) Olympic-distance Champion, Wollongong Triathlon Festival 2024. ​
  • Stepped into elite/pro racing in 2025 (Airlie Beach Triathlon – ​Elite field).

Swim first. Bailey’s racing DNA is set up to hit T1 at the pointy end ​and force selections on the bike.
