I have worn these for marathons. They are superb. The perfect level of compression. The side pockets are great to carry 3-4 gels in each. The rear waist pocket carries my phone securely and fits a number of extra items. They are also very comfortable in hot conditions.

Bought these to run +20km in. No chaffing. Legs felt supported and limited soreness after. Good pockets for phone and gels. Defo recommend

These are the best half tights on the market for racing a marathon.

Finding half tights with enough storage are not easy to find, but these will comfortably fit at least 3x SIS Beta gels securely on each leg (no bounce), a large Ultra phone in the back pocket with easy access to get it in and out with room to spare for MORE gels, and your keys in the secure zip pocket.

That's easily 8x gels (and those SIS gels are beefy, smaller ones even more).

The compression is a bonus.

Only negative is the high price; would've copped these earlier, but couldn't find a better option and I'm glad I did.
